University of Kentucky Dance Team Prospect Clinics

Interested in becoming a member of the University of Kentucky Dance Team? Join us for one of our upcoming Prospect Clinics on February 22, 2026 or March 8, 2026, held at Tates Creek High School
(1111 Centre Pkwy, Building 1A, Lexington, KY 40517).

These clinics are open to 8th graders through current college students and are designed for dancers who aspire to compete at the Division I level. Participants will receive advanced instruction and evaluation directly from the University of Kentucky Dance Team coaching staff.

Throughout the clinic, dancers will have multiple opportunities to showcase their skills while learning material that includes:

• Dance combinations
• Game day material
• Technical skills
• Master classes
• And more

Recruiting Opportunities

During each prospect clinic, the coaching staff will award Video Bypasses to top dancers, as well as extend future clinic invitations.

A Video Bypass invites the dancer directly to the final rounds of auditions, eliminating the requirement to submit a preliminary video as the first step of the audition process. Coach signings to the University of Kentucky Dance Team may also be offered.

We hope to see you in February so you can experience firsthand what it takes to become part of our nationally ranked program.

Solo Opportunities

A limited number of 50 solo spots are available for current juniors, seniors, and college students. If all spots are filled, a waitlist will be created. If a spot becomes available, waitlisted dancers will be contacted via email. Solo fees must be paid to secure a spot.

• Solos are limited to 45 seconds
• Music must not exceed 45 seconds (shorter is permitted)
• All music must be clean and family-appropriate
• Participants will receive confirmation once music is received or if revisions are required
• Performance order will be emailed prior to the clinic

Solos are an opportunity for dancers to showcase what makes them unique as performers.

Required Documents (UK Athletics Camps)

All participants must upload the following documents to their Active Network Camp Account prior to participation. Campers will not be permitted to participate until all documents are received. Disabilities will be accommodated with advance notification.

• A copy of a physical signed by a physician within the last 12 months
• Front and back copies of medical insurance card(s)

What to Bring

• Athletic clothing
• Dance shoes
• Personal water bottle

No jewelry, no gum, no long nails.

• A confirmation email will be sent after registration
• A detailed informational email will be sent a few days prior to the clinic

Merchandise Sales

Merchandise will be sold in person only.

Refund Policy

Approved refunds will be issued minus a $50 non-refundable deposit.
