
Kentucky STUNT to Compete for Division I National Championship

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky STUNT team will travel to Nashville on Thursday, where the Cats will open play in the Division I STUNT National Tournament at Lipscomb University.
Kentucky (27-1) plays its first game of the double-elimination tournament on Thursday at 10:15 a.m. ET against UT Martin. UK will play again on Thursday against either California Baptist or Mercyhurst. The time is to be determined.
The tournament continues on the following day, with the championship game slated for Friday afternoon.
STUNT is a head-to-head competition between two teams that focuses on the technical and athletic aspects of cheer. It is one of the fastest-growing female sports in the United States.
