
Kentucky STUNT Blitzes Misericordia on Sunday
ERIE, Pa. – The Kentucky STUNT team completed a successful weekend on Sunday, beating Misericordia 24-0 at Mercyhurst.
Kentucky (22-1) took command of the contest early, winning all four points in the first quarter, partner stunts. In the second quarter, pyramids and tosses, the Cats again claimed all four available points and UK would take a 8-0 lead into the half.
In the third quarter, jumps and tumbling, the onslaught continued as UK again won all four points, building a 12-0 lead in the process. In the final stanza, Kentucky claimed 11 points to none for Misericordia to provide the final margin of victory.
Kentucky returns to action on Friday in the Trevecca Nazarene Tournament in Nashville. The Cats face Maryville at 4 p.m. ET. Then at 8:40 p.m. ET, UK will battle Hope International.
