Former UK Dance Team Members on 2024-25 NFL/NBA Cheer Rosters
LEXINGTON, Ky. – A total of 15 former members of the University of Kentucky Dance Team will be representing professional sports teams during the 2024-25 season.
Lily Johnson, who was a member of the UK Dance Team from 2014-18, will be with the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders this season. This will be Johnson’s fourth year with the Broncos.
Holly Michel is in her fourth season as a member of the Cincinnati Bengals Cheerleaders. Michel danced at Kentucky from 2014-18.
Joining Michel on the Ben-gals again this season is former UK dancer Olivia Medley, who was a member of the UK Dance Team from 2016-19. This is Medley’s third season with the Ben-gals.
Kleine Powell begins her fourth season as a member of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. Powell was at UK from 2017-21.
DaVanna Lockett is in her second season with the Kansas City Chiefs cheerleaders. Lockett danced at UK from 2018-22.
Marlee Scholten will join Lockett for a second year on the Kansas City Chiefs cheerleaders this season. Scholten was a member of the UK Dance Team from 2019-23.
Madelyn Anderson will be in her second year with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers cheerleaders this season. Anderson was a member of the UK Dance Team from 2019-23.
Kennedy Grieman will be in her second year with the Arizona Cardinals cheerleaders this season. Grieman also danced at UK from 2019-23.
Annie Walton, who was also a member of the UK Dance Team from 2019-23, will be in her second year with the Cleveland Cavaliers dance team.
Allison Broadhurst, who was a member of the UK Dance team from 2019-23, will be in her second year for the Indianapolis Colts cheerleaders this season.
Joining Broadhurst for a second season in Indianapolis is former UK Dance Team member Janelle McKinney, who also danced at UK from 2019-23.
Christie Horan is in her second season as the head coach of the Command Force, the dance team for the NFL’s Washington Commanders. Horan danced at UK from 2010-14.
Three former UK Dance Team members will be making their professional debuts this season.
Libby Jaggers, who danced at UK from 2021-24, will be in her rookie season with the Cincinnati Ben-gals.
Ava Lahey, who was on the UK Dance Team from 2022-24, will be making her debut with the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders.
And Madelyn Trent, who danced at UK from 2021-24, will be the first UK alum to be a member of the Miami Dolphins cheerleaders.
