Wildcats’ Southeastern Conference Home & Away Opponents Released

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The University of Kentucky women’s basketball program received its Southeastern Conference home and away opponents for the upcoming season, it was announced by the league office Tuesday.

The Wildcats, under the new leadership of head coach Kenny Brooks, will square off with conference foes 16 times during the regular season, which includes eight home games and eight away games.

Kentucky will host Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Mississippi State, Tennessee and Texas in the $82 million renovated Memorial Coliseum next season, while it will travel to Georgia, Florida, Ole Miss, Missouri, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Texas A&M and Oklahoma in 2024-25.

With the addition of the Longhorns and the Sooners to the league, each team will have just one rotating opponent as opposed to three. The Wildcats will face the Lady Bulldogs twice next season, while each program’s rotating opponent will change annually. In the process of the updated format, Kentucky and South Carolina end a permanent rivalry that lasted 30 seasons. The Gamecocks and the Wildcats have played home-and-away every season since 1995-96.

Kentucky’s home-and-away opponents for the upcoming season are as follows:

2024-25 SEC Home Games
Alabama
Arkansas
Auburn
Georgia
LSU
Mississippi State
Tennessee
Texas

2024-25 SEC Away Games

Texas A&M
Oklahoma
