LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky men’s golf will be represented by Alex Goff at the 2024 NCAA Men’s Golf Baton Rouge Regional, held at the LSU University Club (par 72, 7401 yards) May 13-15.

The Baton Rouge regional tournament is one of six regional events across the country. The low five teams and the low individual not on those teams will advance to the NCAA Championship, set for May 24-29 at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.

Competition will begin with tee times starting at 9 a.m. EST each morning. Live scoring will be available on Golfstat.com.

A dependable scorer, Goff was a counting score for the team in all 28 of his rounds this year. He collected three runner-up finishes in a span of four tournaments this past fall, including at the Steelwood Collegiate Invitational where he finished with a season low total of 10-under par. Goff was UK’s top-finisher at the 2024 SEC Championships, placing T14 at 2-under par. Graduating this spring with his MBA, Goff was also named the 2024 Men’s Golf SEC Scholar Athlete of the Year last month. He became the first Wildcat to be named to the SEC’s first or second team in consecutive years since Andy Winings in 2008 and 2009 with his nod to the All-SEC Second Team this year.

For his career, Goff, owns a 71.51 scoring average, 78 rounds of par-or-better, 16 top-10s and 11 top 5s. He picked up his lone career win at the 2020 Blessings Collegiate Invitational and has since tallied six runner-up finishes.

Goff has competed at NCAA Regional events each of the past three seasons. He finished T18 at the Noblesville Regional in 2021, T23 at the Columbus Regional in 2022 and T10 last season at the Auburn Regional.
