UKTF Earns Six USTFCCCA All-America Honors
LEXINGTON, Ky. — Five student-athletes of the Kentucky track & field program have earned All-America honors for their performances at the NCAA Indoor Championships, announced by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
The men’s team led the way with four total honorees including two first-team and second-team honors. Charity Hufnagel, the only woman competing for UKTF at the NCAA Indoor Championships, earned second-team honors in both the pentathlon and the high jump.
Below is a list of UKTF’s 2024 All-Americans, which honors they earned, and in what events.

Luke Brown
- First-team All-America – Triple Jump
Keaton Daniel
- First-team All-America – Pole Vault
Kennedy Lightner
- Second-team – 200 meters
Dennis Ohene-Adu
- Second-team – Weight Throw
The men’s team scored 18 points to finish 11th at the NCAA Indoor Championships. It marked the best finish for Head Coach Lonnie Greene since taking over the program in 2018 and the best finish for the Wildcats since 1996 when they finished seventh with 22 points. It also marks the eighth top-15 finish for the men in program history and the first since 2021 where they finished 14th with 12 points.
