Kentucky Volleyball Earns No. 8 Overall Seed, Hosting 1 & 2 Rounds

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky Volleyball team qualified for its 19th-straight NCAA Championship and earned the No. 8 overall seed in the tournament, the NCAA announced Sunday night on the NCAA selection show.

Kentucky will play host to James Madison, Baylor and Wofford inside Rupp Arena at the Central Bank Center with first and second round matches beginning Thursday night. Regional two seed James Madison will open play against regional three seed Baylor at 4:30 p.m. ET, followed by top-seeded Kentucky playing host to the Wofford Terriers, the fourth regional seed.

UK Volleyball season ticketholders will receive communication from the UK Ticket Office on Monday morning (Nov. 27) with information on priority access to tickets for the matches. All-session tickets will go on-sale to the general public through UKathletics.com and the UK Ticket Office on Tuesday at 9 a.m. ET. Single-session tickets will go on sale Wednesday at 9 a.m. ET. All-session reserved tickets will be sold for $23 for all ages, with $15 for a general admission ticket and $12 for college student and senior admission. Single-session tickets will be $15 for reserved seats, $10 for general admission and $8 for college students and adult groups.

Kentucky Volleyball in Rupp Arena

UK Athletics announced earlier this spring that Rupp Arena at Central Bank Center will serve as the primary home venue for the Kentucky gymnastics, volleyball and women’s basketball teams for the 2023-24 season while Memorial Coliseum undergoes an $82 million renovation.
