Men’s Soccer Hosts James Madison for Friday Night Contest
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky men’s soccer (3-6-2, 0-3-1 Sun Belt) will host Sun Belt Conference opponent James Madison (4-3-4, 0-2-2 Sun Belt) at the Wendell & Vickie Bell Soccer Complex for a Friday the 13th contest at 7 p.m. EST.
The Wildcats and Dukes faced off twice in the 2022 match slate in both the regular season schedule and in the championship match of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament. UK was victorious at JMU, winning 3-1, while also coming out on top to win the conference title, 2-0 in Lexington. The two programs now hold a 2-0-0 (UK) all-time series record.
Heading into Saturday’s contest, Kentucky is coming off a 1-1 draw at Coastal Carolina while James Madison tied West Virginia, 2-2, in Morgantown, W.Va.
Friday evening’s match will feature a candy giveaway to kick Halloween off early while supplies last.
