Men’s Soccer Hosts Longtime Rival Indiana on Tuesday
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky men’s soccer (3-6-0, 0-3-0 Sun Belt) will host longtime rival Indiana (3-3-3, 0-1-2 B1G) at the Wendell & Vickie Bell Soccer Complex on Tuesday at 7 p.m. EST.
The Wildcats and Hoosiers last faced off in 2022 where UK defeated IU, 3-0, in Bloomington, Ind. for the first time since 1995. Kentucky had not won against Indiana since 2018 where the Cats came out on top, 3-0, in Lexington.
The two programs hold a historic rivalry with an all-time series record of 26-3-0 IU which dates back to September 1973.
Heading into Tuesday’s contest, Kentucky is coming off a 0-1 home loss to No. 3 Central Florida while Indiana tied Michigan at home, 0-0.
The match will be the last non-conference contest on the regular season schedule for Kentucky in 2023.
The theme for the night will be a White Out as fans are encouraged to show up in their favorite white Kentucky gear. Rally towels and soccer scarves will be handed out upon entry while supplies last.
