Men’s Soccer Returns to The Bell for Friday Contest

LEXINGTON, Ky. – No. 19 Kentucky men’s soccer (2-2-0) will return to the Wendell & Vickie Bell Soccer Complex to host Lipscomb (1-1-1) for a 7:30 p.m. EST contest.

The Wildcats and Bison first faced off in September 2016 which resulted in a 1-1 draw after two overtime periods. Since then, the two programs have developed a 3-1-1 UK all-time series record.

Kentucky and Lipscomb last faced off in 2022 in Lexington resulting in a 3-2 victory for the Cats.

The Wildcats come into Friday’s contest after two tough road losses against No. 21 Wisconsin and No. 7 Louisville. However, the Cats are undefeated at The Bell so far in the 2023 campaign.

Lipscomb enters the match with a win against Saint Louis, ranked No. 15 at the time, a loss against Florida Atlantic and a tie with Charlotte.

The theme for the match is “I Can’t Believe it’s Not Soccer,” as fans are encouraged to wear jerseys for other sports.

Big Blue Nation can purchase single match or season tickets for the 2023 homestand by clicking here. Tickets will also be available for purchase upon arrival to The Bell.
