Kentucky Football Parking Information for 2023
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Ahead of the 2023 Kentucky Football season, Kentucky Athletics is sharing parking and traffic information for games in Kroger Field.
The Wildcats will play the first of seven home games in 2023 when Kentucky Football hosts Ball State on Saturday, Sept. 2 at noon ET.

Directions
New for 2023, to help provide fans take the best route to the stadium, considering traffic flows and diversions on gameday, UK Athletics has become a Waze Global Partner.
Fans with parking permits can use interactive directions to their specific lot. Please download the Waze App and use the below provided links/QR codes to access directions.
Please note that some of the routes serve multiple adjacent lots so be aware your entrance to your lot might be before the terminus of the Waze directions route.
Those who choose not to use the Waze app can consult the preferred route written turn by turn directions on the ukathletics.com parking page.
Please follow directions to minimize the chance of being placed in a different lot than the one you are assigned due to traffic congestion. We cannot guarantee you will be able to park in your assigned lot if you do not follow the directions listed.
Reminders and Tips
All permitted lots require a corresponding parking pass. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are not reserved within the lot. ONE PERMIT, ONE SPACE. Tailgate tents need to be setup on the backside of the vehicle and should not impede the drive lanes. Please help us to ensure a positive experience for everyone by not tailgating in the middle of aisles and not reserving spaces. Also, please be sure to check your mobile permit to make sure you have the correct game parking pass pulled up for scanning into the lot, and not your game ticket.
Arrive Early
Kroger Field lots open at 8 a.m. To avoid congestion and delayed entry to the lots, please plan to arrive prior to two hours before kickoff. Fans who arrive within two hours prior to kickoff could be directed to the closest available parking lot, rather than their assigned lot.
Mobile Permit
Please save your mobile permit in your mobile device’s wallet before leaving your house on Gameday. This will help expedite the process as you enter the lot and have your permit scanned. Please have your permit ready to be scanned as you approach the lot entrance. It is important that you follow directions listed below so UK staff can easily sort traffic, since there is not a permit to display in your window.

Game Day Traffic on Hospital Drive – UK Medical Center Emergency Room
Hospital Drive, connecting Limestone and University Drive, will be closed strictly for Emergency Room traffic on Game Day. Guests with Parking Structure #1 permits may access Parking Structure #1 via University Drive only.

It is important for all permit holders to follow the outlined traffic routes to access their specific parking lot. Pre-game routes into each permitted lot are detailed below.
Directions to Kroger Field Specific Lots
Arboretum – Preferred Route to gain access into the lot:
- Tates Creek to Alumni
- Turn onto Alumni; Turn left into the Arboretum
- Alumni Drive from New Circle
- Remain on Alumni Drive through Tates Creek; Turn left into the Arboretum on Wildcat Court, enter the Purple Lot
Black/Green (PS#7) – Preferred Route to gain access into the lot:
- Tates Creek
- Turn onto Cooper Drive; Turn right onto Sports Center Drive; Turn left into Parking Structure #7
- Richmond Road
- Take Richmond Road to Chinoe Road; Chinoe to Cooper Drive; Take Cooper through Tates Creek; Turn right onto Sports Center Drive; Turn left into Parking Structure #7
- Alumni Drive from New Circle
- Take Alumni Drive to Tates Creek; Turn right onto Tates Creek; Turn left onto Cooper Drive; Turn right onto Sports Center Drive; Turn left into Parking Structure #
Blue, Blue Disabled, Blue VIP – Preferred Route to gain access into the lot:
- Tates Creek from New Circle
- Turn onto Alumni Drive; Turn left; Follow traffic signs on Alumni to Blue Lot
- Alumni Drive from New Circle
- Use right lane; No Turns; Follow traffic signs on Alumni to Blue Lot
Rubicon Green Lot – Preferred Route to gain access into the lot:
- Tates Creek
- Turn onto Cooper Drive; Turn left onto Jerry Claiborne Way; Turn right at stop sign into Green
- Richmond Road
- Take Richmond Road to Chinoe Road; Chinoe to Cooper Drive; Take Cooper through Tates Creek; Turn left onto Jerry Claiborne Way; Turn right into Green Lot
- Alumni Drive from New Circle
- Take Alumni Drive to Tates Creek; Turn right onto Tates Creek; Turn left onto Cooper Drive; Turn left onto Jerry Claiborne Way; Turn right into Green Lot
Orange – Preferred Route to gain access into the lot:
- Nicholasville Rd
- Turn onto Alumni Drive; Enter the traffic circle; exit on to University Drive; Turn left into the Orange Lot
- Tates Creek
- Turn onto Alumni Drive; Enter and proceed through the first traffic circle, continuing on Alumni; Enter the second traffic circle, exit on University Drive; Turn left into the Orange Lot
Purple – Preferred Route to gain access into the lot:
- Tates Creek
- Turn onto Alumni Drive; Merge right on College Way prior to the traffic circle; Turn right on Cooper Drive
- Turn left onto Jerry Claiborne Way; Turn left at stop sign onto College Way; Proceed over the hill and enter the Purple Lot
Red, Red Disabled, Red VIP – Preferred Route to gain access into the lot:
- Harrodsburg/Broadway
- Take Harrodsburg/Broadway to Waller Avenue; Take Waller Avenue/Cooper Drive; Continue on Cooper to University Drive; Turn right onto University; Left lane goes to the Red Lot next to the stadium
- Nicholasville /Limestone
- Take Nicholasville/Limestone to Cooper Drive; Take Cooper east to University Drive; turn right onto University; Left lane turns into the Red Lot next to the stadium
Main RV, Gluck RV- Preferred Route to gain access into the lot:
- Nicholasville Rd
- Turn onto Cooper Drive; Turn right onto University Drive; Enter the Orange Lot and proceed to the back
Silver, Silver AG, Silver GB – Preferred Route to gain access into the lot:
- Limestone
- Turn onto Cooper Drive; Turn right onto University; Use right lane; Turn right onto Farm ; Turn right onto Veteran’s Drive and immediately left into the Silver Lot
White/Green (PS#1) – Preferred Route to gain access into the lot:
- Tates Creek
- Turn onto Cooper Drive; Turn right onto Sports Center Drive; White/Green lots will be on your left & right
- Richmond Road
- Take Richmond Road to Chinoe Road; Chinoe to Cooper Drive; Take Cooper through Tates Creek; Turn right onto Sports Center Drive; White/Green lots will be on your left & right
- Alumni Drive from New Circle
- Take Alumni Drive to Tates Creek; Turn right onto Tates Creek; Turn left onto Cooper Drive; Turn right onto Sports Center Drive; White/Green lots will be on your left & right
Yellow – Preferred Route to gain access into the lot:
- Nicholasville Rd/Limestone
- Turn onto Cooper Drive; Turn left onto University Drive; Turn left onto Hospital Drive; Turn left onto Veteran’s Drive, enter Yellow Lot via Parking Structure #1 ramp
Yellow/Red – Preferred Route to gain access into the lot:
- Harrodsburg/Broadway
- Take Harrodsburg/Broadway to Waller Avenue; Take Waller Avenue/Cooper Drive; Continue on Cooper; Turn left into the YR lot which is prior to University Drive
- Nicholasville /Limestone
- Take Nicholasville/Limestone to Cooper Drive; Take Cooper east to Cooper Drive; Continue on Cooper; Turn left into the YR lot which is prior to University Drive
