Day One Results

HENDERSON, Nevada – The Kentucky men’s golf team sits in a tie for fifth place at 1-under-par after the opening round of the Lake Las Vegas Intercollegiate Monday at Reflection Bay Golf Club. Second-round play begins Tuesday morning before the final round Wednesday.

Long Beach State leads the tournament at 10-under followed by Little Rock and Michigan tied for second at 9-under and New Mexico State in fourth place at 5-under. The Cats sit tied for fifth place with UAB and host Louisiana at 1-under.

Senior Alex Goff and freshman Kevin Watts sit in a tie for 11th at 2-under-par. Goff carded three birdies against a bogey on his third hole of the day for his team-best ninth round under par in 2022-23 while Watts recorded a team-best four birdies to offset a pair of bogeys for his third under-par round of his rookie campaign.

Junior Campbell Kremer sits tied for 36th at 1-over while graduate Dhaivat Pandya is tied for 49th after a 2-over 74 and fellow graduate Garrett Wood is tied for 72nd at 6-over.

Individually, senior Jackson LaLonde sits tied for 60th at 3-over while freshman Andrew Clark is tied for 68th at 5-over. Senior Cooper Parks and junior Tanner Parks round out the individuals in a tie for 82nd and 95th, respectively.

The team sits third in the 15-team field in par-4 scoring at 1-over while leading the field with 64 pars. Individually, Goff is tied for second with 14 pars.
