Kentucky STUNT Completes Weekend in Dallas

DALLAS – The Kentucky STUNT finished its four-game, two-day stay in Dallas on Saturday.

The Cats opened Saturday play against Texas Tech. The Red Raiders earned the first two points of the game before the Cats got on the board. TTU held a 3-1 advantage after one quarter.

The teams tied on the first routine of the second quarter before Texas Tech ran off three straight points to lead 7-2 at halftime.

TTU stretched its lead to 9-2 in the third quarter before Kentucky earned a pair of points, making it 9-4 heading into the fourth period.

In the final stanza, Texas Tech scored 10 points to just three for the Cats. In doing so, the Red Raiders secured a 19-7 victory.

After a short break, the Cats returned to action, facing defending club national champion Oklahoma State.

OSU took the lead early, winning the first point of the game and taking a 4-1 lead after one quarter. The Cowboys would outscore the Cats 3-1 in the second quarter, building a 7-2 lead at the half.

Each team would score two points in the third quarter, giving OSU a 9-4 lead with the fourth quarter, taem routines, remaining.

In the final stanza, Oklahoma State earned nine points to Kentucky’s five. The Cowboys would win the game 18-9.

Kentucky returns to action, and opens its home slate, on Saturday, March 4. The Cats host Michigan State at noon ET and Ashland at 2 p.m.
