Swimming to Send 11 to Ohio State First Chance

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Kentucky swimming will send 11 representatives from the 14th-ranked women’s team to the Ohio State First Chance meet this Friday through Sunday at McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion on the campus of Ohio State University.

Wildcats set to compete include Annie Galvin, Stella Todd, Tori Orcutt, Kaitlyn Bacik, Sofia Davis, Maddie Welborn, Breckin Gormley, Megan Hartlieb, Kaelan Daly, Lucy Reber and Leah Luckett.

Joining Ohio State and Kentucky at the meet will be Ball State, Duquesne, John Carroll, Notre Dame, Ohio and Pitt.

UK returns to McCorkle after racing at the facility earlier this season for the fall Ohio State Invitational.  There, the Kentucky women placed third while the men finished fifth.

The full schedule for the weekend can be seen below. Finals will be streamed each evening on B1G+, with prelims also available for streaming on Friday and Sunday.

Friday

11 a.m. – Prelims (500 Free, 200 IM, 50 Free)

5 p.m. – Finals (200 Free Relay, 500 Free, 200 IM, 50 Free, 400 Medley Relay)

Saturday

11 a.m. – Prelims (100 Fly, 400 IM, 200 Free, 100 Breast, 100 Back)

5 p.m. – Finals (200 Medley Relay, 100 Fly, 400 IM, 200 Free, 100 Breast, 100 Back, 800 Free Relay)

Sunday

11 a.m. –Prelims (200 Back, 100 Free, 200 Breast, 200 Fly)

4 p.m.  – Finals (1650 Free, 200 Back, 100 Free, 200 Breast, 200 Fly, 400 Free Relay)
