Women’s Tennis Announces Spring Schedule
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky women’s tennis’ 2023 spring slate will include nine home matches with 11 on the road, the program announced on Thursday.
The Wildcats will kick off spring competition with three tri-matches in Lexington, Ky. starting Jan. 20 at the Hillary J. Boone Varsity Tennis Complex hosting ETSU and Miami (OH). Kentucky will then host Illinois and Northern Illinois on Jan. 22 and Cincinnati and Marshall on Jan. 25.
UK will go on a five-match road stint beginning Feb. 11 at Penn State. The away slate will also include Purdue, Michigan, and Southeastern Conference opponents Mississippi State and Ole Miss before returning back to Lexington on March 10. Kentucky will host Georgia for a Noon match.
Kentucky’s remaining spring matches will include hosting Tennessee and Bellarmine, Auburn, Alabama, Texas A&M and LSU. The Cats will travel to South Carolina, Florida, Missouri, Arkansas, Ohio State and Vanderbilt.
Following the conclusion of the regular season schedule, UK will look toward the SEC Tournament in Fayetteville, Ark. April 18-23. The NCAA Tournament will begin in May with the locations to be announced.
