Women’s Tennis Travels to ITA Regionals in Knoxville
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky women’s tennis continued its fall tournament stretch in Columbus, Ohio for the Buckeye Invitational last weekend. The Cats will travel to Knoxville. Tenn. this weekend for ITA Regionals facing 24 different programs on the court beginning Friday.
The pair of Makayla Mills and Ellie Myers found success on the first day of the Buckeye Invitational defeated their University of Michigan opponents, Dala Mesochoritou and Merk Kelly, 6-4.
Day two of the tournament found three Wildcats victorious in Myers, Lidia Gonzalez and Mills. The pair of Gonzalez and Mills teamed up to find success in doubles play on the final day with success in singles as well.

Kentucky will play in Knoxville this weekend with hopes of team or individual advancement to ITA finals later in the fall.
The Cats will take their talents to the court for the Tennessee Invite Oct. 27-29 and close out its fall schedule of play at the Miami Invite on Nov. 3-6.
