Kentucky Baseball Hits Road for Final Time in Regular Season
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Kentucky has vaulted itself into the potential postseason discussion entering its final road series of Southeastern Conference play at South Carolina this weekend. The Gamecocks sit one game ahead of the Wildcats in the race for the league tournament in Hoover in two weeks.
Friday night’s first pitch will be at 7 p.m. ET on the SECN+, while Saturday will be at noon on the SEC Network in a nationally featured game. Sunday’s finale will be at 1:30 p.m. on SECN+.
The Wildcats (26-21, 9-15) hosted No. 1 Tennessee last weekend and gave the Volunteers their first series loss of the season and first road series loss in SEC play since 2019, winning each of the first two games. Reliever Tyler Guilfoil earned conference Pitcher of the Week honors for his six innings of one-hit baseball in a 13-inning win last Thursday.
