Kentucky Faces Another Top 10 Opponent in No. 4 Louisville
For the seventh time in the past eight games Kentucky will have a shot at a Top 10 opponent, this time as No. 4 Louisville comes to town to renew the Bluegrass State rivalry. Each program won on the other’s home turf in 2021.
First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET. Gates open one hour prior to first pitch. The first 1,000 fans will receive a lapel pin.
Seth Logue is expected to get the start on the mound for Kentucky. He is 1-2 with a 6.49 earned run average this season and has 32 strikeouts to just seven walks in 26.1 innings.
UK (18-11) is coming off a weekend where it took one of three from No. 9 Ole Miss, while Louisville lost two of three at Pittsburgh but have won 11 of 14 overall. The Wildcats then will have a quick turnaround to travel to Texas A&M for a series that opens on Thursday night.
