by Chris Shoals

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky Volleyball players Gabby Curry, Madison Lilley and Avery Skinner were named to the College Sports Information Director’s of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District Team for 2020-21, the organization announced. By being selected to the All-District Team, the three Wildcats are entered into the final ballot for CoSIDA Academic All-America.

There were eight players named to each All-District Team, as the Wildcats were one of only two teams in the country to place three players on an All-District Team, joining Brown University. UK’s district, District Two, is represented by Washington DC, Delaware, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Academic All-District and Academic All-America voting takes into account both a student-athlete’s academic and athletic accomplishments.
