Lilley SEC Player of Week, Setter of Week; Stumler Offensive POW

LEXINGTON, Ky. –  Senior setter Madison Lilley was named the Southeastern Conference Player of the Week, and Setter of the Week with junior outside hitter Alli Stumler being crowned the league’s Offensive Player of the Week, it was announced on Monday.
 
This is Lilley’s third time winning SEC Player of the Week, and fourth win in the Setter of the Week award in the seven weeks of competition as she continues to play at the best level on her career. The senior from Overland Park, Kansas was also named a Senior CLASS Award finalist earlier last week.
 
Stumler, the Floyds Knobs, Indiana native, is the SEC Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season, after winning the award in the fall on November 2.
 
Madison Lilley
Madison Lilley captained the UK offense to a .426 hitting percentage this weekend, including a season-high .463 mark in UK’s win Friday night vs. LSU. Lilley had 40-plus assists in both matches, and averaged 13.8 assists per set. The senior also had multi-blocks in both matches, and swung at a .312 clip.
 
Alli Stumler
Alli Stumler recorded 5.67 kills per set on the weekend as Kentucky swept LSU, notching 19 kills on Friday night and 15 kills on Saturday. Stumler had 19 kills on 34 swings Friday with only one error, and on Sunday collected her team-leading sixth double-double of the season with 15 kills and 10 digs.
