- Kentucky used the starting combination of senior guards Chasity Patterson and Kameron Roach, senior forwards Tatyana Wyatt and KeKe McKinney and junior guard Rhyne Howard.
- This was the first time this season that UK has used this starting combination.
- Rhyne Howard scored first for Kentucky in the game – the sixth time this season she has been the first Wildcat to score.
- Jazmine Massengill was the first sub for Kentucky.
- It was the fifth time Massengill has been the first sub for the Wildcats.
- Ole Miss won the tip, marking the 17th time this season that UK has lost the opening tip.
- Kentucky led 22-13 heading into the second quarter thanks to ending the quarter on a 10-2 run. UK’s run was 10-0 before a jumper by Ole Miss with just over a minute to go.
- UK went 7-of-14 from the field in the first 10 minutes adding a 7-of-8 mark from free throw.
- Ole Miss was 5-of-16 from the field in the first quarter and 0-of-3 from long range.
- Kentucky held a 9-8 mark in rebounds in the first quarter and a 10-6 mark in paint points.

- Kentucky ended the third quarter on a 6-0 run to cut the Ole Miss lead to 43-42 heading into the final 10 minutes.
