Personal Bests Highlight Kentucky Milers at Music City Challenge
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Five Kentucky Wildcats posted personal bests in the mile run Friday at Vanderbilt’s Music City Challenge.
In the women’s race, freshman Tori Herman finished fourth with a personal-best time of 4:45.16. She has run in all four meets during the indoor season and improved her time in each successive outing. Junior Kaitlyn Lacy finished 10th with a PB of 4:49.09 and junior Perri Bockrath finished 14th and had her best showing with a time of 4:49.87.
On the men’s side, Dylan Allen paced the Wildcats in 10th place with a time of 4:05.11. Posting personal bests were sophomores Jacob Brizendine (4:09.99, 16th place) and McLean Griffin (4:13.90, 24th place).
Kentucky’s short-distance runners and field-event competitors were in action Friday afternoon at Clemson’s Tiger Paw Invitational, highlighted by Dwight St. Hillaire’s school record in the 400-meter dash. The recap is featured here bit.ly/37rla3R.
