LEXINGTON, Ky. – No. 19 Kentucky (7-0) has added a gauntlet matchup with No. 1 USC (3-0) to its schedule, slated to take place after this weekend’s contests with Virginia Tech (1-1) and Duke (2-2).

The Wildcats will now face the top-ranked Trojans on Wednesday at 1 p.m. ET at Dodds Tennis Center in Champaign, Illinois.

Kentucky’s home doubleheader originally planned for Friday, Feb. 12, versus Xavier and Cleveland State is now canceled.

Before meeting USC, Kentucky will host Virginia Tech on Friday at 1 p.m. and Duke on Sunday at noon.

The last time the Cats and Hokies met was during the consolation round of ITA Kick-Off Weekend on Jan. 27, 2019, in New York. In that matchup, Kentucky swept its way to a 4-0 victory.

Kentucky has beaten Duke in three of the past five seasons, though the Blue Devils claimed the most recent battle 4-1 last year in Durham, North Carolina.

Kentucky is led on the season by reigning Southeastern Conference Player of the Week and 45th-ranked singles player Liam Draxl, who owns a 6-0 record on the top court.
