Kentucky Hosts Western Kentucky Saturday
LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky women’s tennis team will conclude a challenging home stretch of seven dual matches in a matter of just nine days on Saturday, Jan. 30, after it plays host to Western Kentucky for a 2 p.m. ET first serve inside the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Center.
Admission to all home tennis matches is free, and fans are encouraged to attend. Capacity at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Center is limited to 50 spectators, and it will be based on a first come, first serve basis. Face coverings, over the nose and mouth, are required for all fans as they enter, exit and move around the building, and all patrons will be required to take a temperature check upon entry.
Free parking options include the three small E-lots adjacent to the facility 1.5 hours prior to first serve. Spectators may also pay to park in the Sports Center Garage (PS No. 7) on the corner of Complex Drive and Sport Center Drive. The cost of parking is $2 per hour, with a $16 maximum.

The Wildcats are 6-0 after triumphs over East Tennessee State, Memphis, Miami (Ohio), Cincinnati, Middle Tennessee and Marshall. It marks their best start to the season since 2009, when Kentucky recorded an unblemished 8-0 record in the nonconference schedule.
Kentucky owns an impressive 12-0 doubles record and a near-perfect 33-3 singles record.
Akvile Paražinskaite paces the team on the No. 1 doubles and singles courts, going 4-0 in doubles and 6-0 in singles. In fact, five UK players will go into Saturday’s dual match undefeated in both categories.
Western Kentucky is 2-1, losing at No. 15 Vanderbilt (7-0) and at Lipscomb (4-2). Sandwiched between those two matches, the Toppers earned a 7-0 sweep at Bellarmine. Kentucky leads Western Kentucky 6-0 in the all-time series, earning its most recent win on Jan. 18, 2019 in a 6-0 final score inside the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Center.
