Kentucky Track & Field Competes in Ted Nelson Invitational on Saturday

COLLEGE STATION, Texas. – Kentucky hits the road for its first away meet of the season in the Ted Nelson Invitational at the Gilliam Indoor Track Stadium in College Station, Texas. The first events begin at noon on Saturday and the meet can be viewed on SEC Network+. 
 
The Wildcats are coming off of two home meets to start the season in the Jingle Bells Open and last weekend’s Jim Green invitational. At the Jim Green Invitational, UK won 10 events at the two day meet. 
 
After their strong performances last weekend, Alexis Holmes, Langston Jackson and Megan Moss were honored by the Southeastern Conference with Holmes winning SEC Women’s Runner of the Week, Jackson winning SEC Men’s Runner of the Week and Moss winning SEC Women’s Co-Freshman of the Week.

Following the Ted Nelson Invitational, Kentucky hosts its final indoor meet of the season with the Rod McCravy Memorial next weekend on Friday and Saturday.
