Mary Tucker Third after First Phase of Olympic Trials
FORT BENNING, Ga. – After the opening phase of the U.S. Smallbore Olympic Trials on Wednesday, freshman Mary Tucker sits in third place with a two-day total of 2338.
The Sarasota, Florida native is coming off a finals performance at the ISSF World Cup in Rio. Thanks to her score in Georgia this week, she has put herself in a great position for part two of the trials.
The scores from this week’s competition will be added to the scores from the second phase of the trials taking place in March of 2020 to determine which athletes will represent the U.S. at the 2020 Tokyo Summer Games.
