Lilley, Curry and Team USA Begin Pam-Am Games Play on Wednesday
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky volleyball players Madison Lilley and Gabby Curry will begin play with Team USA in the 2019 Pan-Am Games on Wednesday as they compete for a gold medal. The 2019 Pan-Am Games are being held in Lima, Peru.
The United States will be in group B of preliminary round competition, as it faces Argentina, Puerto Rico and Brazil on back-to-back days with the top teams in the pool advancing into the medal round.
On Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET, the USA will face Argentina before a showdown with Puerto Rico at the same time of Thursday. Pool play concludes on Friday against Brazil at 2 p.m. ET.
If the USA were to advance into the semifinals, the Americans would play on Aug. 10 at either 7:30 p.m. ET or 9:30 p.m. ET. The gold medal match is at Noon ET on Sunday, Aug. 11.
Wednesday, Aug. 7 – 4 p.m. ET vs. Argentina
Thursday, Aug. 8 – 4 p.m. ET vs. Puerto Rico
Friday, Aug. 9 – 2 p.m. ET – vs. Brazil

Saturday, Aug. 10 – Semifinals – 7:30 p.m. ET/9:30 p.m. ET
Sunday, Aug. 11 – Finals – Noon ET – Gold Medal Match
ESPN3, the online platform for ESPN will have complete coverage of all the Team USA matches throughout the entire tournament. ESPNU is the official television home for the American audience in the Pan-Am Games and will be showing portions of each match, but may switch to other sports, if necessary.
