WINSTON SALEM, N.C. — The Kentucky men’s distance medley relay team of Brennan Fields, Jacob Smith, Kendall Muhammad and Ben Young ran the third fastest time in school history, 9:36.57 at the JDL DMR Invite on Friday.
The 12th fastest time in the nation this year — the last time that would qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championships next month — is Stanford’s 9:29.35.
The Wildcats will have the chance to run faster next weekend at the Southeastern Conference Championships.
