No. 11 Tennessee Visits The Bell for Friday Night Border War

by Chris Shoals

LEXINGTON, Ky.  – Kentucky will look to snap a four-match losing streak on Friday night at the Bell Soccer Complex as it hosts Tennessee for a Southeastern Conference match at 7:30 p.m. ET. This weekend is the second of three stand-alone weekends on the SEC slate, with each team only playing one match.

Friday night is “Pack The Bell” night.

The match will be aired live on the SEC Network+, ESPN+ and the ESPN app with Dave Baker (pxp) and former Wildcat All-American, Stuart Pope (color) on the call from Lexington.

Tennessee leads the all-time series with Kentucky 14-12-1. The Lady Vols won last year’s meeting 3-0 on Rocky Top against the Wildcats. The Lady Vols are 2-0-1 in the last three seasons vs. UK. The last Kentucky win vs. Tennessee came in the semifinals of the 2014 SEC Tournament. The last regular season win for UK over Tennessee came in 2013, when UK won 4-1.
