Pregame Concerts Back at Kroger Field for 2018
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Continuing a recent tradition, the Kentucky Football Pregame Concert Series will be back at Kroger Field for the 2018 season, with local musical acts playing before each Wildcat home game. The performer for UK’s season opener on Sept. 1 will be decided by the “Opening Act” contest to take place this summer.
Local bands are invited to submit nominations for a chance to play a concert before UK hosts Central Michigan to kick off the 2018 season. To submit your band or your favorite band, please email BBNfirst@uky.edu with the following information or fill out the form at UKathletics.com/openingact.

**UK Athletics seeks to create a family-friendly atmosphere at each pregame concert.**
Nominations will be accepted through June 22. Afterward, the Big Blue Nation will vote for a winner to play the season-opening show. Last year, Walker Montgomery defeated seven other musical acts to win the 2017 edition of Opening Act.
Concerts will once again be held on the plaza outside Gate 12 of Kroger Field. A schedule for this year’s concerts will be released at a later date.
Season tickets remain available at UKFootballTix.com for $310 apiece with corresponding K Fund donations attached. Fans are able to use the Kentucky Football Virtual Venue to view and compare available seat locations and see a 360-degree virtual view from the seats inside Kroger Field. Payment plans will be available for new purchases and renewals.
Public season-ticket packages in Sections 201-203 and 209-211 are $240 apiece. Fans can view a seating chart with the various pricing levels here. The Kentucky Football Pocket Pass will also return for the 2018 season, which includes a mobile ticket to all seven home games for a discounted price of $205 while supplies last.
Group tickets are on sale now, giving groups of 20 or more access to special pricing for games at Kroger Field in 2018. Single-game tickets for the Wildcats’ seven home contests will go on sale to season-ticket holders in late June and to the general public on July 3. Away game tickets and flex packs are on sale now at UKFootballTix.com
