  • Senior INF Luke Becker has reached in 46 of 47 games (and 90 of 91 including 2017 summer ball).
  • Junior C/1B Kole Cottam has reached safely in 17 straight games, has hits in 21 of the past 23 games and is riding a career-long 10-game hit streak.
  • Junior INF Trey Dawson has now reached base safely in 17 of his last 18 games.
  • Senior INF/OF Luke Heyer has reached in 10 straight games and 15 of the last 16 games.

• Senior C/1B Troy Squires

  • Hit a three-run home run on Saturday, his fifth home run of the season and sixth career blast.
  • Squires now has 49 RBI on the season. He had 37 total RBI his first three seasons.
  • He has 14 multi-hit games this season and 27 for his career.
  • He has 13 multi-RBI games this season and 20 for his career.
  • Squires was hit by pitch for the 14^th time this season, which moves him into fourth on UK’s single-season list. He also ranks fifth on that list with 13 last season.
  • He has been hit by 28 pitches in his career, which moved him into a tie with Chad Wright (2009-11) for ninth on the school’s all-time list.

• Senior INF Luke Becker hit a game-winning three-run homer in the sixth inning on Saturday.

  • It was his sixth home run of the season and 14^th of his career.
  • Becker now has five multi-RBI games this season and 15 for his career.

• Junior OF Tristan Pompey had four hits and scored three runs on the weekend.

  • Pompey has 14^th multi-hit game this season and 48^th of his career.

• Junior C/1B Kole Cottam returned to his hometown for the series.

  • He currently owns a career-long 10-game hitting streak.
  • He hit a two-run home run in his first at bat, giving him 16 for the season.

  • Cottam has 24 extra-base hits this season.

• Sophomore LHP Zack Thompson made his first start since Mar. 10 against Texas Tech.

  • Thompson did not allow a hit and struck out seven in 3.0 innings.
  • Thompson ranks second on UK’s career chart for hits allowed per nine innings at just 6.01 per/9.
  • The lefty is averaging 11.84 strikeouts per nine innings for his career.
