    • Went 4.1 innings before allowing a hit.
    • Went to just two three-ball counts.
    • Did not allow a runner to reach second base until the 6th inning.
    • Now owns a 23-to-3 strikeout-to-walk ratio for the season.

 

  • Junior RHP Justin Lewis pitched 7.1 innings, giving up five hits, two runs and striking out six in a win vs. Alabama on Sunday.

    • Lewis earned his fifth win of the season and 13th of his career.
    • He now has 52 strikeouts in 41.0 innings pitched.

 

  • Junior RHP Zach Haake pitched 7.2 innings, giving up two hits, four runs, walking nine and striking out five on Saturday vs. Alabama.

    • The 7.2 inning were a career-high for Haake.
    • He did not allow a hit through 6.2 innings.
    • The 115 pitches are a career-high.
    • The five strikeouts are a UK career-high.

 

  • Sophomore RHP Chris Machamer pitched 1.2 innings, striking out two and recording the save vs. Alabama on Sunday.

    • It was Machamer’s second save of the season and third of his career.

 

  • Senior C/1B Troy Squires

    • Now has 27 SAC bunts in his career, moving him into a tie with Matt Reida (2011-14) for third on the school’s all-time list.

 

  • Junior C/1B Kole Cottam

    • Now has 12 home runs on the season after just eight total his first two years.
    • The 12 home runs lead the SEC.
    • He has 12 multi-hit games this season and 38 for his career.
    • He has hit five home runs in nine conference games, tied for the SEC lead.

 

  • Junior IF/OF Luke Heyer

    • Heyer now has 12 multi-hit games this season and 16 for his career.
    • Heyer has 20 extra-base hits in 27 games.

 

  • Junior OF Ryan Shinn

    • He has two multi-hit games for his career.
