T&F: SEC Indoor Saturday Highlights

Olivia Gruver set a new Southeastern Conference Championships pole vault record 15-feet, 3.75 inches/4.67 meters, broke the league indoor record and posted the second highest collegiate pole vault clearance ever indoors by a collegian indoors en route to her first SEC title. Sydney McLaughlin was the top qualifier in the women's 400m in a PB 50.97Q. At a quick glance, that's the fastest 400m in a non-final round in collegiate history. Per USTFCCCA, the time fell just outside the all-time collegiate top-10 and made her the first collegian woman to go sub-51 since Bowerman winner Courtney Okolo in 2016. Jasmine Camacho-Quinn won her qualifying heat in the 60m hurdles, cruising to the finish line with a time of 8.05Q, second fastest of the prelims. She'll look to defend her title in the event on Sunday. Kayelle Clarke ran an indoor personal best 23.02 to qualify for the 200m final fourth. She moved to No. 4 on the UK all-time list. Camacho-Quinn, silver medalist in the event last season, also advanced to the 200m final with a qualifying time of 23.09.
