Champions Kitchen to Serve as Host of This Week’s Calipari Show
LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Paul Miller Ford John Calipari Show takes place weekly, but on Wednesday the show will be hosted on campus and open to students for the first time.
At 6 p.m. John Calipari will discuss past and upcoming games with co-host Tom Leach, the Voice of the Wildcats, in the brand-new residential dining facility, Champions Kitchen. The pair will be taking questions from the audience as well as chatting with Kentucky Agriculture Commissioner Ryan Quarles.
At 7 p.m. women’s basketball head coach Matthew Mitchell and baseball head coach Nick Mingione will join Darren Headrick to discuss Mitchell’s women’s basketball team and the upcoming baseball season, set to start on Feb. 16.
The first 350 students who arrive with a valid UK student ID, between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m., will receive free admission to Champions Kitchen for free, all-you-can-eat dinner. Prizes will be given away throughout the evening. Students will also be able to check in at the show on the BBN Rewards app for a chance to win a free iPhone X at the Kentucky gymnastics team’s meet vs. Florida on Friday at Memorial Coliseum.
The John Calipari Show is presented by Paul Miller Ford and hosted at Champions Kitchen by Kentucky Proud. Special thanks to the UK Dining and UK Campus Housing offices for hosting the event on campus.
