Team Records and Series Notes
-Kentucky is now 5-0 this season, while Morehead State falls to 2-3.

• The last time UK started the season 5-0 was the 2015-16 season, when they began the year 11-0.
• The Wildcats have won their fifth game in each of the last seven seasons in which they’ve started 4-0, dating back to the 1993-94 season.

-Matthew Mitchell is in his 11th season as head coach at Kentucky. He is the winningest head coach in program history at 246-100.
-With the win, Kentucky holds a 30-4 all-time record against Morehead State, including a 20-1 mark in games played in Lexington.
-The Wildcats moved up to No. 22 in the latest Associated Press Top 25. UK is also receiving votes in the USA Today Coaches Poll.
-Kentucky will be back in action this Sunday, Nov. 26 at 2 p.m. ET, to take on Marshall inside Memorial Coliseum. The game can be streamed live on SEC Network+, and will be broadcast live on the UK Sports Radio Network with Darren Headrick calling the action.

-Kentucky used the starting combination of senior Alyssa Rice, senior Makenzie Cann, junior Taylor Murray, junior Maci Morris and freshman Dorie Harrison.

• UK is 5-0 with that starting-five combination.

-The Wildcats raced out to a quick 18-7 lead, using a 12-2 run to begin the game.

• UK started the game 7-of-7 from the floor.

-Kentucky outscored Morehead State 26-12 in the first quarter.

• UK’s 26 first-quarter points matched its second-most points scored in any single quarter this season.

-UK went on a 13-0 run extending from the end of the first quarter into the second.

• It was Kentucky’s fifth 10-0 run or better this season.

-At halftime, Kentucky led 46-27.

• The 19 point halftime lead matched its largest of the season (35-16 vs. Gardner-Webb, 11/12/17).

-The Wildcats matched its largest lead of the season, stretching the lead to 38 points in the fourth quarter.
-Kentucky had 25 assists on 31 field goals in the contest, surpassing 20 assists for the first time this season.

• The last time UK had 20+ assists was Jan. 26, 2017 when UK had 23 dimes vs. Ole Miss.
• Morehead State posted a season-low seven assists in today’s game.

-UK made a season-high 10 3-pointers in the game.
-The Wildcats held Morehead State to 15 or less points in each quarter, the second time they’ve accomplished that feat this season.
-Kentucky forced 15 turnovers and scored 20 points off those turnovers.
-UK’s bench outscored the Eagles’ 33-13.
 
Player Notes
–Maci Morris posted a game-high 19 points on 7-of-8 shooting.

• Morris had 13 points at halftime, shooting 5-of-6 from the floor and 3-of-4 from long range in the first half.
• She matched a career-high five made 3-pointers in the game.
• Morris also set a career-high three steals in the victory.
• The junior is the only UK player that has posted double-digit scoring in every game this season.
• With five made 3-pointers today, Morris moved into No. 7 on Kentucky’s list of all-time 3-pointers made with 115 total.
  • She moved past Kristi Cushenberry (110), Bria Goss (112), Sam Mahoney (113) and tying Tiffany Wait in the category.
• The junior also added two rebounds, two assists and three steals.

–Makenzie Cann recorded her second consecutive double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.

• The senior also added a career-high five assists in the game.
• She matched her career high with 10 boards, set in last Sunday’s game against Washington State.
• In her last two games, Cann has 30 points and 20 rebounds combined.

–Amanda Paschal had double-digit scoring for the first time as a Wildcat with 11 points.

• She played a season-high 20 minutes in the game.
• The junior college transfer also added two boards and two assists.

–Jaida Roper added 10 points, two rebounds and three assists.

• She made a career-high four free throws on a career-high seven attempts.
• It was the third time in her career she’s posted double-digit scoring.

–Taylor Murray recorded a team-high six assists to go along with seven points in the win.

• The sophomore has led UK in assists in four of five games this season.

–LaShae Halsel recorded her first career points in the game, making a layup late in the fourth quarter.
