Team Notes
- Kentucky is 7-4 overall, 4-4 in the Southeastern Conference.
- UK finished at least .500 in the league in consecutive seasons for the first time since 1998-99.
- UK finished in third place in the SEC Eastern Division. Placing second last season, it is UK’s best back-to-back finishes since the league split into divisions in 1992.
- Georgia, the SEC Eastern Division champion, is 10-1 overall, 7-1 in the league.
- Georgia leads the series 57-12-2.
- Kentucky wraps up the regular season on Sat. Nov. 25 by playing host to Louisville. Game time is set for noon and it will be televised on the SEC Network.
- Kentucky took the opening kickoff of the third quarter and drove 75 yards for a touchdown. It is the third consecutive game that UK scored a TD on its first possession of the second half.

- UK’s game captains were OG Nick Haynes, QB Stephen Johnson, LB Courtney Love and S Mike Edwards. They have been game captains every game this season.
- Senior quarterback Stephen Johnson completed 12 of 22 passes for 138 yards and no interceptions.
- Sophomore running back Benny Snell, Jr. rushed 22 times for 94 yards and one touchdown.
- Snell now has 2,198 rushing yards as a Wildcat and moved past Artose Pinner (2,105) for eighth place on the UK career rushing list. Snell has 1,107 rushing yards this season.
- Snell now has 29 rushing touchdowns as a Wildcat, extending his UK career record.
- Snell has 16 rushing touchdowns this season, one shy of the UK single-season record of 16 by Moe Williams in 1995.
- UK is 12-2 when Snell has a rushing TD.
- Senior wide receiver Garrett Johnson caught four passes for 36 yards.
- Johnson now has 2,140 receiving yards as a Wildcat, fourth best in school history.
- Johnson has 153 career catches, becoming the fifth player in school history with at least 150 receptions.
- He has caught a pass in 22 consecutive games.
- Senior wide receiver Blake Bone made a crazy catch for a career-long 45-yard play in the first quarter, helping set up a field goal.
- Junior safety Darius West led the Wildcats in tackles with seven stops.
- Junior linebacker Josh Allen intercepted a pass in the first quarter, setting up a field goal. It is the first pickoff of Allen’s career.
- Sophomore defensive end T.J. Carter corralled a quarterback sack in the first quarter. He has a sack in three of the last four games.
- Senior kicker Austin MacGinnis made both of his field goal attempts, good from 37 and 35 yards.
- MacGinnis has tied his school record of 11 consecutive field goals.
- He is now 20 of 25 on field goals for the season. His 20 field goals are one short of his own school record of 21 set in 2014.
- He improved his UK career scoring record to 349 total points.
