Kentucky Seeks to Return to Form against Ohio State

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Something will have to give when Kentucky welcomes Ohio State to The Bell Wednesday night to conclude its non-conference schedule.
 
First touch is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET and will be live streamed via Watch ESPN.

The setup and history
UK enters the match on a three game losing streak.

Ohio State has lost six matches in a row, with a winless streak reaching seven as they drew the match before the current run of losses.
 
Kentucky has lost three consecutive games for the first time since the conclusion of the 2014 season.

Kentucky (7-5-2, 4-2-0 Conference USA) and Ohio State (7-7-1, 3-4-0 Big Ten Conference) will be meeting for the 13th time. The two teams last played in 2015 in Lexington with Ohio State winning 1-0.
 
Kentucky trails the all-time series 3-5-4.
 
The teams have played one common opponent this season to date. They each played Indiana – then ranked No. 1 – two weeks ago, with both of Wednesday’s combatants having lost to the Hoosiers by a 2-0 score line. Ohio State played C-USA side Florida International – who Kentucky will play at The Bell on Sunday – the second match of the season, losing 3-0.
 
The logistics
Gates to The Bell will open one hour before kickoff.
 
Fans arriving early will receive a UK soccer T-shirt. Students sitting in the BlueRebellion will receive Vuvuzelas.
 
UK soccer fans can also pick up the eighth edition of the nine-match series of individual match posters.
 
Following the match, the whole team will sign autographs on the side of the pitch, weather permitting.
