Single-Game Men’s Basketball Ticket Information

by Deb Moore

LEXINGTON, Ky. – On-sale dates and single-game ticket prices for each of Kentucky’s home games will have its first public on-sale opportunity on Tuesday. Once again this season, the UK Athletics Ticket Office, in conjunction with its partnership with Ticketmaster, will enable its resale marketplace for all 20 men’s basketball home games prior to the season tipping off. New this season, fans will be able to purchase officially verified resale tickets at Ticketmaster.com, prior to Kentucky’s official on-sale dates.

TicketExchange by Ticketmaster is the only official resale market of UK Athletics. Season ticket holders may use the marketplace to post tickets on a game-by-game basis in which they cannot attend.

Kentucky partnered with Ticketmaster to bring fans the only safe and secure, fan-to-fan resale marketplace authorized by UK Athletics. TicketExchange is completely integrated with Kentucky’s Ticketmaster software and uses barcode verification technology to ensure the authenticity of tickets. As the only official fan-to-fan marketplace, TicketExchange provides fans with reliable and convenient access to purchase tickets for games and sections that otherwise may be sold out or not yet available.

Please note that tickets posted on Kentucky’s fan-to-fan resale marketplace may exceed face value.

In addition to this season’s resale option, single-game availability will continue to be offered through a public on-sale. Kentucky’s public on-sales consist of tickets that remain after the student distribution. It is possible that only a limited number of tickets will be available if the students purchase a majority of their allotment.

The first of five public on-sale dates for single-game tickets will occur on Oct. 3 at 5 p.m. The first on-sale date includes the Thomas More College, Centre College, Utah Valley and Vermont games. On the evening of Oct. 3, tickets will only be available online at Ticketmaster.com or by calling Ticketmaster at 800.745.3000. Fans are encouraged to purchase on Oct. 3 to secure the best seat locations.

Remaining public on-sales will occur on the following dates: Oct. 10, Nov. 1, Nov. 15 and Jan. 24.
