15 Seconds of Fame, UK to Deliver Videoboard Moments to Fans

LEXINGTON, Ky. – 15 Seconds of Fame (15SOF), the breakthrough social media app that delivers personal video moments to fans who appear on camera at live events, and the University of Kentucky have announced a partnership to provide football fans at Kroger Field with their videoboard moments. The deal makes Kentucky the first SEC program to partner with 15SOF.
 
Starting with Saturday’s Kentucky-Florida matchup, fans who download the free 15SOF app and take a “selfie” to sign up will receive their personal video moment on their phone when they appear on the videoboard. The digital clip can then be shared instantly across social media channels.
 
“We are excited to introduce 15 Seconds of Fame’s innovative technology and make it something our fans enjoy on game day at Kroger Field,” Associate Athletics Director for Marketing and Licensing Nathan Schwake said. “We are always in search of new ways to enhance experiences for our fans and help them create lasting memories at our events and this app is a great way for us to do exactly that.”

15SOF is already delivering scoreboard moments to fans at venues around the country through agreements with select NCAA programs and professional teams throughout the NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB. 15SOF has also signed groundbreaking deals with the National Football League and with Major League Baseball Advanced Media (MLBAM) to provide baseball fans with their TV moments from every NFL stadium and MLB ballpark. 15SOF also delivers fans’ TV appearances from Big Ten Network broadcasts. The unique social platform has also been used for a variety of non-game live events, including concerts, festivals and races.
