Kentucky to Play First Conference Road Match of Season at New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The No. 13-ranked Kentucky men’s soccer team will take its talents to the American Southwest to play an always strong New Mexico side on Saturday night.
Saturday’s 9 p.m. ET kickoff will be Kentucky’s first Conference USA road match of the year.
UNM will stream the match live.
The setup
Kentucky is coming off its first loss of the year (1-0 to Cincinnati on Tuesday at The Bell), and enters the weekend with a 2017 record of won 4, lost 1, drew 1.
Kentucky is 1-0 in C-USA this year, while New Mexico will be playing its league opener.
The Lobos have won four in a row after opening the year with two consecutive losses.
Kentucky is 2-0-1 on the road this season.
UK has scored seven and conceded four goals this season.
All four of the goals UK has allowed this year have come in midweek matches. UK has played three midweek and three weekend (Friday and Saturday) games so far.
Freshman goalkeeper Enrique Facusse has been named C-USA Defensive Player of the Week each
of the last two weeks.

The history
Kentucky leads the series 3-1-1 all-time. The matchup is 1-1 at UNM.
UK won the last meeting in Albuquerque, 1-0 with Stefan Stojkovic pouncing late on in double overtime, in 2015.
Kentucky has won three 1-0 regular-season matches in a row against UNM, although the Lobos advanced past UK in the C-USA Tournament last year via penalty kicks after they played to a 2-2 draw over 110 minutes.
