LEXINGTON, Ky. – In what’s becoming a day after Labor Day tradition in the Commonwealth, the Kentucky and Louisville men’s soccer teams will face off on Tuesday.

The 2017 edition will be played at Lynn Stadium in Louisville with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.

The match will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra.

The Setup
Both teams enter Tuesday with 2017 records of won 3, lost 0, drew 0. Kentucky has won its first three matches for the first time since 2011.

Kentucky will be playing its third away game in a row.

Louisville’s unblemished record includes a win over No. 25 Butler. The Cardinals are 2-0 at home this season.

The quote
“It’s a big game, it’s a rivalry matchup,” Senior midfielder Noah Hutchins, who scored the winner in a 1-0 result against Louisville at The Bell last year, said. “We’re going to be focused. We have a couple of days to get rested up and get ready to play.

“It’s always a fun game. We’re going to go in there and try to build on our momentum.”

The History
Kentucky will play at Louisville for the 11th time. The Wildcats are 11-8-4 against Louisville all-time, and 6-2-2 in Louisville. Kentucky won last year’s matchup 1-0, ending a two game losing streak to the Cardinals.
