Kentucky Football to Host Season Ticket Holder Open House

LEXINGTON, Ky. – As a reward for season-ticket holders who renewed prior to March 31, Kentucky football will host an open house allowing fans to go behind the scenes at Kroger Field and the Joe Craft Football Training Facility on Friday, June 23.
The open house will take place from 6-10 p.m. on June 23. The event will offer exclusive access through self-guided tours of the two facilities that opened over the last two years, taking fans into premium spaces, the press box, team areas, locker room, weight room, practice field, state-of-the-art recruiting room and onto the field.
Eligible season ticket holders should have received an email last week with details for how to RSVP and print tickets to the special event. The deadline to print tickets is Tuesday, June 20 at 5 p.m. Free parking will be provided in the Glenn Hyundai Blue Lot. Please note, outside food or drink is not allowed in either facility and guests are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes.
Season ticket holders who attend the free event will be eligible to enter raffle drawing for Season Ticket Surprises and specialty food samples from Kroger Field’s concessions offerings will be available. Several of UK Athletics’ corporate partners will participate in the open house:
Kentucky Legend will be grilling hot dogs and giving out UK stress balls.
Kentucky Farm Bureau will distribute 2017 UK football schedule magnets in the Kentucky Farm Bureau Recruiting Room.
Central Bank will have free giveaway items for fans and their football player cardboard cutout will be available for pictures. They will also be giving away two free tickets to UK’s first home game, including a behind-the-scenes tour of the Central Bank Press Level.
Season tickets are available at UKFootballTix.com for $310 apiece with corresponding K Fund donations attached. Fans are able to use the Kentucky Football Virtual Venue to view and compare available seat locations and see a 360-degree virtual view from the seats inside Kroger Field. The Virtual Venue has been updated to reflect the installation of nearly 6,000 new bench-back seats in the upper level for the 2016 season. Payment plans will be available for new purchases and renewals.
Public season-ticket packages in Sections 201-203 and 209-211 are $240 apiece. Fans can view a seating chart with the various pricing levels here. Limited quantities of the Kentucky Football Pocket Pass will also return for the 2017 season, which includes a mobile ticket to all seven home games for a discounted price of $205 while supplies last.
The Wildcats will open the 2017 season with a game at Southern Miss on Sept. 2 and make their home debut on Sept. 9 vs. Eastern Kentucky University.
