RALEIGH, N.C.  – The second ranked Kentucky track and field women’s team and No. 22 UK men’s team will run at North Carolina State’s Raleigh Relays this weekend.
UK will mostly compete in distance events this weekend.
The meet will be broadcast streaming live on ESPN3/Watch ESPN both Friday and Saturday. Friday’s streaming coverage will run from 5-9 p.m. ET. Saturday’s stream window is from noon-3:30 p.m. FlashResults.com will handle results.
The meet starts at 9:45 a.m. ET on Friday with the 10,000 meters concluding the first-day action at 8:46 p.m. ET.
On Saturday action begins at 10 a.m. Ian Jones will run the 800m at 2 p.m.
The Wildcats will send a smaller group to Raleigh this weekend, while a group composed of most of the team is scheduled to begin the outdoor season in earnest at next weekend’s Florida Relays.
A year ago Jacob Thomson began what would be a productive outdoor season at the Raleigh Relays with a 10k winning time of 29:01.34. He would go on to win the Southeastern Conference outdoor 5k and 10k and place sixth in the NCAA 10k.
