Wildcats in the Pros -- Nov. 15

Each week, Wildcats in the Pros catches up with some former Kentucky student-athletes who are doing big things in professional athletics. 

Danny Trevathan had a big game for the Chicago Bears on Sunday. The linebacker had a combined total of 13 tackles in the game, including nine solo tackles. 

In Nashville, three former Wildcats played in the same game as Randall Cobb brought his Green Bay Packers to town to face Avery Williamson, Wesley Woodyard and the Tennessee Titans. 

Cobb caught four passes in the game for 31 yards, with an 11-yard reception marking his longest play of the game. Williamson had a pair of tackles, while Woodyard had one. The Titans won the game 45-27.

Former Wildcat Karl-Anthony Towns made Kentucky fans proud over the week. In three games, the Minnesota Timberwolves’ center recorded three straight double-doubles. On Wednesday, Towns had 20 points and 11 rebounds in a win over the Orlando Magic. On Saturday, the former Kentucky big man had 24 points and 10 boards in a loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. The following night, Towns did it again, with 22 points and 12 rebounds in a win over the Los Angeles Lakers.

Anthony Davis continues to have a big season for the New Orleans Pelicans. The former Kentucky All-American is third in the NBA, averaging 30.4 points per game on the season. He also leads the league in blocked shots and is sixth in rebounding. On Monday night, Davis had another big game, with 26 points, 14 rebounds, four steals and two blocks.

Trey Lyles had his best game of the season on Monday. The Utah Jazz forward had a season-high 18 points, along with five rebounds, two assists and two steals.
