Mingione to Speak at Get in the Game Dinner

First-year University of Kentucky head baseball coach Nick Mingione will be the guest speaker at the Get in the Game Dinner benefiting Score International on Sunday, Oct. 16 at Champions Golf Club. The dinner is part of a two-day event that couples with former Major League Baseball player and Lexington native Austin Kearn’s Celebrity Golf Scramble the next day.
Former Kentucky coach Keith Madison works with SCORE International, a nonprofit, faith-based ministry which started with college and high school athletic teams traveling to Third World countries serving people and sharing their faith. SCORE has evolved into a full service mission organization that provides all-inclusive trips that are managed by our qualified staff and missionaries. Each trip offers lodging, meals, trip insurance, ground transportation, interpreters, ministry set-up and a trip coordinator.
Previous speakers for the Get in the Game Dinner include Kearns, former Cincinnati Reds infielder Doug Flynn, Kentucky women’s basketball head coach Matthew Mitchell and Kentucky Athletics Director Mitch Barnhart.
