Coach Stoops at Kentucky Children's Hospital Dedication

Coach Mark Stoops, along with wife Chantel and the UK coaching staff, participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Hall of Champions at the Kentucky Children’s Hospital on Tuesday.  In addition to Coach Stoops, the Hall of Champions honors Wildcat greats Randall Cobb, Jamal Mashburn and Jenny Hansen.  Continuing an effort begun by former football coach Rich Brooks, Stoops hosts the annual “Coaches for the Kids” fundraiser for the Children’s Hospital, which has generated more than $1.2 million. Chantel Stoops serves on the Kentucky Children’s Hospital Development Council.  Following the ribbon cutting, Coach Stoops, defensive coordinator D.J. Eliot and offensive coordinator Eddie Gran visited patients in the hospital.
