Game Times Set for Football’s First Two 2016 Home Games

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Southeastern Conference and ESPN have announced the television selections and game times for the first three weeks of the 2016 college football season, including Kentucky’s season opener against Southern Miss on Saturday, Sept. 3.
Kentucky will begin its season at home against the Golden Eagles on Sept. 3 with kickoff slated for 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPNU. The following Saturday, UK will open SEC play as it travels to Gainesville to face Florida at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS. The Wildcats will return home Saturday, Sept. 17 to face New Mexico State at 4 p.m. ET on SEC Network Alternate, which is an additional television channel that is not live 24 hours a day but content will appear on the channel when games overlap. Check with your local television provider for more information.
For the remainder of the schedule, beginning with the South Carolina game on Sept. 24, game times and television assignments will be announced 12 days in advance of the game date.
Season tickets for Kentucky’s seven home games in 2016 are available through ukfootballtix.com and the UK Ticket Office. Fans may order by placing a $50 deposit per seat, and they will receive a seat selection appointment time to choose seat locations this week. Beginning Tuesday morning, June 14, fans may purchase new season tickets using the Kentucky Football Virtual Venue to select exact seat locations at the time of purchase. Monthly payment plan options will also be available.
Season ticket packages for the seven-game home slate start at just $210 per seat. All season ticket holders are also able to purchase away game tickets and additional home game tickets at exclusive rates until June 21 through their My UK Account or by calling the UK Ticket Office at 800-928-2287. Tickets will be assigned according to K Fund priority rankings and will be based on seating availability.
Mini-packs and single-game tickets will be available to the general public later this summer. To be notified via email when those tickets go on sale, non-season ticket holders should call the UK Ticket Office to create a ticket account and be added to the football email list.
