Kentucky Awaits Fate at NCAA Selection Show Monday

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Coming off its highest regional qualifying score in program history, the University of Kentucky gymnastics program patiently awaits to see where the team will head next, with the NCAA Selection Show to be held on Monday, March 21, at 4 p.m. live via NCAA.com

Kentucky will continue its postseason run at the NCAA Regionals on April 2. Kentucky, a mathematical lock for the meet, will find out its fate later today. The Wildcats could compete on one of six campuses and will travel to either Alabama, Georgia, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota or Utah. Fans can follow UK’s selection process with live video streaming here.
The Wildcats have posted multiple program highs, picking up the pace at the end of the season. The team’s 196.205 RQS is the highest in program history and the team the team is coming off a school-best score at the SEC Championship meet, with the team placing seventh after scoring a 196.25 in the first session, its second highest road score of the season.
