?    Kentucky moves to 19-6 on the season, and 8-6 in Southeastern Conference play.  The Wildcats have won four in a row, their longest streak this season in league games.
?    Arkansas is 11-16, 6-8 in league action.
?    UK leads the series, 20-13, with the Wildcats winning six in a row. 
?    Matthew Mitchell is in his ninth season with Kentucky and he is 243-116 overall, including a 213-87 record while at Kentucky. 
?    Kentucky has Senior Night on Thursday, Feb. 25, at 7 p.m. against Missouri. The game will be televised as part of the SEC Network’s whip-around coverage, availability in its entirely on SEC Network+.
 

Game Notes

• Kentucky started with Janee Thompson, Maci Morris, Makayla Epps, Batouly Camara and Evelyn Akhator for the fifth straight game. UK is 4-1 with this lineup.
• Thompson opened the game with a score, and after Arkansas tied it, Akhator got a basket-and-one to give the Wildcats a lead they never relinquished.
• Ahead 20-16, UK went on an 18-2 run for a 38-18 bulge.
• Thompson was injured and left the game with 7:11 on the clock in the second quarter.
• UK went to halftime ahead 44-26.
• Arkansas got hot in the third quarter, pulling within seven on two occasions.
• UK went into the final period with a nine-point lead and kept the scrappy Razorbacks at bay the rest of way.

• Kentucky outrebounded Arkansas, 37-24, leading to a 15-2 advantage in second-chance points.
• UK won the war of the paint, outscoring the visitors 40-24 in the lane.
• The Wildcats got on the run to win fast-break points 10-0.

Individual Notes

?    Makayla Epps led the Wildcats with 16 points, adding seven rebounds and four assists.
o   It is her 21st game this season scoring in double figures.
o   Has recorded at least four assists in all four games of the current winning streak.
?    Evelyn Akhator collected 14 points and 11 rebounds, her ninth double-double of the season.
o   She has 17 double-figure scoring games and 11 games with double-figure rebounding.
?    Alexis Jennings totaled 14 points and four rebounds.
o   Jennings has five double-figure scoring games in a row and 15 for the season.
?    Maci Morris canned 10 points, with three assists and only one turnover.

?    Janee Thompson played a very effective 12 minutes before her injury, scoring eight points, making all three shots (including a pair of 3-pointers), and adding two assists.
